Immagini travolte dalla ruota di Duchamp. Duchamp è certamente complesso quanto Joyce e, per fare qualcosa su di lui, ho provato a dedicargli questo breve poemetto filmico agendo solo su alcune immagini di immagini delle sue opere tratte sempre da libri e cataloghi (cioè dall’inchiostro). Per esempio, oscurando i raggi di una ruota lasciando fessure regolari, trasformandola così in un vero otturatore-esterno che è venuto a sostituire quello della mia cinepresa, mancante. Ruota di bicicletta che si fa cinema e viceversa. Per esempio la sua finestra nera che si trasforma in tanti schermi-video, ecc. Su Duchamp mi sentirei di fare un film per ogni sua opera perchè mente, ironia e alchimia sono proprie del cinema.

Immagini travolte dalla ruota di Duchamp [Images Overtaken By The Wheel Of Duchamp] Duchamp is certainly as complex as Joyce and to do something about him, I tried to dedicate to him this small film poem, using only a few images of images of his work, taken always from books and catalogues (that are made of typographic ink). For example, blackening in the spokes of a wheel, allowing regular slits, transforming it in this way into a true external shutter, that came to substitute for the missing one of my movie camera. A bicycle wheel that becomes cinema and vice versa. For example, his black window that is transformed into a number of tv screens, etc. With Duchamp I think I could make a film for every one of his works because intelligence, irony and alchemy are all proper to the cinema.
